USGS Water Services

USGS Water Services provides access to water data including real-time streamflow, daily values, site information, statistics, and groundwater levels. **Note:** This API will be decommissioned in early 2027. Applications should migrate to https://api.waterdata.usgs.gov. ## Available Services - **Instantaneous Values (iv)**: Near real-time water data transmitted from monitoring stations - **Daily Values (dv)**: Historical summarized daily data (mean, median, max, min) - **Site Service**: Metadata about monitoring locations - **Statistics**: Daily, monthly, or annual statistics based on approved data - **Groundwater Levels**: Historical manually-recorded groundwater levels
